Founded in 2017, ELEPHANT has become synonymous with boundary-pushing raves, experimental sounds, and uninhibited self-expression, reshaping the city’s club scene one electrifying party at a time.
Unlike mainstream club nights, ELEPHANT thrives in hidden, unconventional venues, popping up in warehouses, art spaces, and other undisclosed locations. This nomadic approach fuels the party’s exclusive and underground allure, making every event feel like an intimate yet electrifying gathering of Manila’s most forward-thinking creatives, DJs, and dancers.
At its core, ELEPHANT is more than just a party–it’s a movement. Co-founded by key figures in the Manila nightlife scene, including Alex Dignos, the collective aims to dismantle traditional nightlife norms and build a community-driven space where queer identity, artistic expression, and electronic music collide.
ELEPHANT‘S events aren’t about the music–they’re immersive experiences. One of their most talked-about nights was the “Clown Convention 2023,” where guests were encouraged to dress as clowns, blending playful absurdity with hard-hitting techno beats. These unconventional themes give ELEPHANT its signature surreal and avant-garde approach to music, making each event a unique escape from reality.
Their dedication to the underground scene has even gained international recognition. Netflix’s docuseries “Midnight Asia: Eat. Dance. Dream.” featured ELEPHANT as a standout representation of Manila’s evolving nightlife, further proving that the city’s club culture is on the rise–and at the forefront of it all is ELEPHANT.
